Default dead mouse?

It appears something died in the trunk area of my wife's 05 S convertible. There is evidence of a mouse in the battery compartment and in the tail light area when you remove the access panel.

Can anyone provide assistance on how to remove the covering in the trunk area and the back seats. I can see some screws but past experience with other cars tell me that there are hidden fasteners which can break easily if not know about in advance.

Guess how I'm spending my saturday morning.
