Default HELP !!! I want to MANUALLY drop the top

Can anyone out there give me a step by step explanation on how to manually drop the top on my 2005 convertible mini?? Also, does anyone know of any after market parts that i can get to have it repaired...it stopped working RIGHT after the warranty went out...the passenger side of the sun roof part will go back but the motor on the driver side is not functioning (or it is stuck or something)...PLEASE help...moving to L.A. soon and I would love to be able to drop the top again...its been over a year now !!! thanks, Preston

if I were you I would just pay the extended warranty to 100k milesfor $1,500... it's gonna be cheaper than repairing whatever breaks b4 the 100k miles....

look in the l/r and youll see a pimp, inscrew the flat head screw about 1/2 turns. inside the veh right over your head there is a plastic cover, remove the cover and disconnect the motor. there is a hex shaped shaft that if you turn with a hex socket, the top will begin to open.
