Default 2010 S New- Engine doesn't start at times

My 2010 Cooper S I purchased last June won't start every now and then. Press break and start button it just beeps and blinks then nothing. The engine doesn't rev. I've had this problem from the very beginning when I purchased the car. I'd say once in 6 times starting the car I get this problem, more often when I drive a short distance to run quick errands and trying to start the car again after a few minutes.
Took it in to the dealer but they said they couldn't "duplicate the problem". Any idea what's the issue?

Intermittent problems dealing with sensors, computers, etc. are usually a loose ground. Start with the battery, remove the terminals (that will also totally reboot your computer) clean them good and put it back together. Then check all your grounds, there are quite a few of them. I have not seen a wiring diagram for 08 and above, so you’re going to have to look around.
