Hello, I own a mini cooper hatch, 2007. I want to change its front grill, currently I have the chrome one, and i would like to put the one like on the s version, something like this:

Now, in the ads i have found a lot of these for the s version, also 2007 year, so my question is:
Can I buy this one for the s version, and have a mechanic somehow trim it, or adjust it to fit my cooper?
