need help with cel on 2008 S r56 (aka Batman)
A co-worker of mine is having problems with his 2008 Mini S and is unsure what to do. His check engine light went on just recently and found the following:
Check computer system with scanner, 9 errors stored. 2B32 – Throttle valve Actuator, 2B31 - Throttle valve Actuator, 287E – Intake Camshaft Timing, 2782 – Multiple Cylinder misfire, 277A – Cyl 4 Misfire, 2772 – Cyl misfire, 277E – Cyl 2 misfire, 2B64 – Intake Manifold pressure, unmetered air, 294A – intake cam position sensor faulty.
After further investigation there is also gas in the oil, visible cam wear, and it is idling rough.
Any ideas what the problem could be? Any help is appreciated.
Kevin

First off you have gas in the oil so the engine is pretty much shot and you don't need to be running it right now. As soon as you can drain the oil and let it drain for a day or two just to be sure you got the gas out. You need to check all your hoses and your air box to find a leak that's what that sounds like. Other than that I'd need to look at it myself. Sorry best of luck
