My girlfriend recently bought a mini on a whim, 2010 hardtop base model.

I am a huge classic Saab enthusiast and due to that, find myself under the bonnet fairly often. I'm joining this forum in hopes that you Mini enthusiasts can help me in getting her car in top running shape. Here are a couple of immediate fixes that I am inquiring about:

-The rear breaks are pretty much totally shot. The rotors are on their way out as well. I am not looking for performance breaks or rotors, but breaks and rotors that will safely stop her for a reasonable price. Do any of you have preferred brands, or will your standard rotor and pad kit suffice?

-Plugs and wires… I do not think the plugs have ever been changed. They look awful. Preferred set?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Zach

Since it's a base model you're good with oem stuff.
