Default ordered my mini S today, some questions

Just ordered my mini s today w/ 6 speed manual, sport suspension, limited slip, xenon lights, cold weather pkg.

How is this vehicle in snow? getting it with no charge all season tires 16". Will it get out of my driveway up hill in unplowed snow?

Can this car handle 200,000 miles? Is it easy to get to oil filter, and change plugs? Is this tining beltor chain driven cam?

Thanks

They're good in the snow but it's not an SUV so you might have ride height issues in deep snow. They new ones haven't been out for long enough to have any 100,000mile+ cars but there are plenty of R50/R53 MINIs with more than 100,000.

You can get filters at the dealership and plugs are the same as anything. They all have a timing chain but you'll want to change out your accessory belt from time to time.

Am I better off then with the convertable since thats old style super charged? If I get the tubo, which is easier to do oil changes on, turbo or super charged?

I'm not saying you should get a convertible. Just that no one knows how long the turbo engine will last yet, I'm sure it's just as reliable. I have no idea which would be easier to do an oil change on.
