Default Price paid for 2011 Mini

I was just on the phone with a sales rep at Louisville, KY MINI, and she told me MINI does not take any money off the MSRP for custom built vehicles. This just does not sound right to me, has anyone else custom ordered a MINI (any model) and had to pay the MSRP?

I understand they can give you a better deal on a car off the lot, but no money off at all? That's insulting!

Thanks!

Just to let everyone know, I got $2,000 off MSRP, which is pretty good considering most people pay MSRP, so if you're in the area, choose Louisville MINI over Cincinnati MINI.

I found some 2011 MINI Cooper specials for leases if you're in the Boston area:

2011 MINI Cooper Hardtop: Lease for $199/mo!*(Check link for details) Includes Cold Weather & Premium pkgs. and Bluetooth.

They also have good prices on hardtops and convertibles: http://www.minipeabody.com/MiscPage_3

Most dealers are straight MSRP on custom orders even on year end I was offered only $1500 off of MSRP Versus a current one with 0% APR. I took the 0% ... they did throw in mats and a few other things

I got $5,000 off my mini cooper s with the nav thrown in for free. All you need to do is find two dealerships and keep going between the the two dealerships and have them beat the price until on gives up. And then you get a nicely priced car with cool gadgets for free sry for the lack of periods and commas. I just don't care.. I'm to excited waiting for my mini.. Y are the six to 8 weeks sooo long
