Default Winter Driving

I have a 2007 Mini, not S, Auto and want to get opinions and comments RE: winter driving. How is the mini in Snow conditions ?
Should I consider a front snow tires or all four tires ? I am running on Std Goodyear Excellence 16" tires and they are probably more of a performance or touring tire.
Any thoughts on this from owners living in New England area.

It will be dangerous to drive your Mini in snow with the summer tires.

Best advice: get 16" name brand winter tires on all four wheels. They're all good. Avoid the cheap bargain snow tires , you'll hate 'em. (there's a difference between winter tires and snow tires)

Do NOT get winter tires for the front only, that would be even more dangerous, and just plalin stupid.

Here's what I'm planning to get:
