Hi all!

About 3 months ago my (just out of warranty) 2009 JCW started having radio / speaker problems. I kept reading about all the people who have had issues with their amplifiers---just like my issues. Problem is, I cant find the freaking thing! When I rip the back seats off and look down each side panel I cant see anything that looks like an amplifier. The right side has nothing except the wiring harness that runs down that side of the vehicle and the left side has 2 modules that look like maybe receivers (see the attached pic for one of them)?

Every post / forum / picture I've seen tells me that it should be on the right side, am I missing something because this is a JCW? Thanks for any help!!

(Otherwise I am absolutely having a BLAST in this thing!!)

That pic is not the amplifier. It should be on the right hand side in the rear, near the very rear of the barn doors.

It will set long ways.


Do you have the HiFi system ( speaker pods in the interior A Pillars that don't say anything on the grille ) , Non Hifi system ( no speaker pods in the a pillar ) , in 2009 cars at mid points the new Harman / Kardon system was a option instead of the HiFi . Harman / Kardon will be stated on the front A pillar speak pods .
