Default 02 Clutch issues...

within 10 miles my car began to be harder and harder to put into gear. It felt as if i needed a few more inches in the clutch. I've done some research and I dont think its the slave cylinder because there is no leakage of brake fluid and the clutch pedal still has pressure (doesnt drop to floor). I'm finding that I have no clue what to trouble shoot and I need HELP! Cant afford the super expensive diagnostic check ive benn quoted... PLEASE HELP!

There may be a adjustment screw/rod between the pedal and the clutch master cylinder. Loosen the nut and turn out a few turns and it should stiffen the pedal up.
