Default After Market Stereo & Navigation

I've purchased an aftermarket stereo for my mini which I bought with navigation. Now I can't hear my navigation speaking.

How can I fix this?

What BRAND / Model # ???
I'd guess it's a setting you need to increase the volume of the navi

Default Tried that

Nope, that didn't work...do I need an extra hook up of some sort, or maybe mini's with navigation are not compatible with after market stereos

Mini FACTORY Navi Interfacing to the aftermarket head unit you might need an adapter or connect a mute line again depending on brand of unit .... you dont give info damn hard to help ...

Default Sorry guys, this is my first time ever using a forum.

Sony DSX-S300BTX Radio / digital player

Above is the stereo that I have. I had in professionally installed, and didn't notice that it wasnt working right away cuz I didn't have to use for navigation for any reason. I took it back to him, and he said he wasn't sure, maybe I needed another adapter, and to try looking on a forum...so here I am.
