Default Need help on 2006 Cooper S

I need help on figuring out why my cooper is hesitating on acceleration. Is anyone having this type of problem? If so, all help is appreciated. Once passed a certain RPM, it is fine. Thanks!

Could be the throttle body or just carbon build up or even clogged injectors. Won't know until you start tearing thru your engine.

+1 on checking the throttle body. Have you thrown a check engine light code ?

Throttle body might need cleaned or it might be failing.

For The Cooper S gen 1 :

Throttle Housing / Body part # 13541503358

The butterfly valve should be clean like this , when gunk build up it sticks on the first throttle and releases.

If its bad / needs replaced. It throws a throttle code.

Thanks
