Default Power steering hoses 2002 Cooper

I replaced my power steering pump today, filled the reservoir with fluid, and watched it slowly drip all over the ground. It appears that there is a hose/tube that runs laterally across the car, paralell to the PS pump, above the pump that is leaking. There's a tube right above the pump (not leaking) and one above that tube which appears to be the problem. Can anyone tell me what that hose is?

BTW, I have had almost every common problem with the gen one mini - twice replace the harmonic balancer, window motors, ps pump, water pump, the world's most expensive tires now the hoses?!? My wife loves this car, but we cannot afford to keep it. Once I solve this mystery we will be selling it.
