stereo 17 or 40 Pin
Hi All,
Hope you have all had a good easter holiday.
I have a 2002 R50 Cooper hatchback. I would like to install a blue tooth/usb/ 3,5 mm jack plug.
I have found what I want to buy from Dension, Gateway 3 Lite Blue, which states that it is compatible for my car, however it shows two models 1 for a 17 pin wave radio or another for the 40 Pin wave radio.
I believe that the stereo in the car is a standard with CD Player.
Do I need to remove the stereo to find out if there is a 17 or 40 pin plug, or is there something specific that will tell me.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks
chas
