'06 R53 questions
Hello, my name is Jon and I have a 2006 R53. I am currently looking at 17% pulley, crank pulley, m7 coil pack/wires/2+ plugs, m7 airbox, and 2.5" exhaust.
with those mods, what would the "rough" Hp look like, and would I have to have my computer tuned, or would it be ok to run correctly without a tune.
next, does anyone have any of those items for sale here before I buy new
thanks

Hey Jon, i have couple of those mods on my R53 already like the 17% pulley, intake and exhaust. I had them put in at a reputable Mini/BMW shop. The owner who is also a race car driver told me that i didn't need to remap the computer. He said the car would learn how to do it by itself. That it would learn how you drive it. Hope that makes sense. Haha. As far as the HP is concerned. I have not dyno'd it. I'd like too but haven't yet. My guess is that it probably would give you an extra 20-25 horses tops. Good look with your build.

My suggestions is that you give a MINI performance shop a call and discuss what exactly you want for whatever HP gain you desire. They should be able to tell you exactly what mods to go with. If you're looking for some pulley and other mod options, check out what we offer below.
