Default Aftermarket diff b/w super and turbo S

What's the accessibility/price like of the aftermarket for a turbo S vs a super S? Might pick one up this summer/fall and was curious on how easy it is to get these cars well over 200hp (maybe even 250) with moderate spending/without hurting mpg and daily drive-ability. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

S/C is FAR more easily upgradeable. All you have to do is by an overdrive pulley , they have different percent overdrives. the higher percentage yeilds more horsepower the higher percentage the more upgrades you haved to do to support the engines needs, with your lofty 250hp goals you will need fuel management, larger injectors ,headers, exhaust Ect ....
With all these mods of course there will be a MPG impact there is no such thing as free HP you'll likely be down to 20mpg
Also with the upgrades come reliability issues, you are making the engine work harder of course things can/will happen

Yah 250 might be a tad much. But maybe just get a couple more hp w/that pulley etc. Do you know if like the pulley and a new ecu mgmt system like the unichip really hurts mpg significantly? 1 or 2 mpg down wouldn't be too bad, I would just prefer to get anything around 30 on the highway.

It's like anything else when you first install it and drive like you stole it the mileage is in the upper 15/20 after the novelty wears off and you are only really getting on it intermittantly upper 20's are easy
