HI guys,
I got my a daughter a 2004 Mini S and am having a problem with the inside driver's side handle. It will not open the door! I took the panel off and found that the handle and cable were OK but the end near the latch was disconnected. It had a swaged on loop but I could not figure out where it attached. Can someone provide a picture or description?

Also.

On the inside handle there is a cable , check the cable connection first.

Here is # 10 in the diagram that is the cable. Set between the lock and handle.

Then on the outside Handle:

In the picture item #1 is the handle which has a connection cable to it. which links down to the lock.
