Harman Kardon amp for 2004 MCS blown

Reading multiple forums, it appears the H/K system has a history of the amp going bust. Anyone had any success in finding a replacement H/K amp for an '04 MCS?

Most just get a replacement from a wrecked mini or someone thats upgraded
You can do some replacing by rewiring into a four channel unit
