Just got my cooper S, have a few questions

hey everyone, i just got my mini cooper S and its a really great car, and it is quick aswell

first of all, i tried searching, but the search doesnt process my required matches

My questions i have about the car is as follows..(p.s im new to the supercharger thing)

after driving the car... must it be left to idle for a few mins/seconds? like a turbocharged car?? if so after what kind of driving styles>

second of all, where do find the best rpms to launch on?? ive tried 3000rpm worked well, anything higher, it just spins to much, tel me about your experiences

To answer your question, you do not have to let your MCS idle for any period of time, before turning it off. I drive very spirited, and hard at times, but the best rpm to launch at is around 2200-2500, that will give you limited wheel spin, anything higher and they will spin, and turn your DSC or ACT off.

Much depends on tire/rim combo for best launch... I've tried a buddies set of "drag" radials and launched at 4k

thanks for the input. yes i do run with ASC turned off, with it on i noticed that wen you spin going into second gear, theres a lag in accelerating, as the car tries finding traction, then it goes only once it has found.

will try launching the car lower and see how it goes and i have the 16" with pirellis
