Default MCS 03, Getrag Six Speed and Clutch Kit

Where does one get a transmission from an 05-06 for my 2003 MCS? From what I'm hearing these transmissions are very costly through aways. I do not race but have a several low end mods. The Pressure Plate (PP) and my 2nd gear synros are fast leaving "riscci" and I will be walking soon, if I do not find a solution. I have ordered the Clutch Kit (Clutch Masters FX100) but no one can find repair part for this transmission.

Any and all advice will be recieved with open arms.

There are several that "remanufacture" the tranny you buy it then swap it and send it in to them for a core charge

Default MCS 03, Getrag Six Speed and Clutch Kit

Living in Hawaii is NOT always what its cracked up to be. When it comes to availiblity of parts and cost of shipping we are really in a bad way. So when I ask who some of these shops are that remanufacture the Getrag 6 Speed are understand that I am like an infant and do not have the knowledge. Some names would be very helpful.

The mechanic shop I am going to now works on Porsche's primarily but other higher end European cars as well. Mini's are his newest line. we are working together to try and find the parts to fix the transmission insted of replacing it. The 2nd gear synco's are the only real problem, although we have talked about maybe replacing the main shaft bearings as well.

The Clutch Masters FX-100 came in yesterday, so that is not a problem anymore.

Does anyone know where to get parts so we can rebuit the transmission ourselves???

The car still drives but not like a Mini should
