Mini radios and ipods
I probably posted this in the wrong place (General Tech), previously, so I am posting it here, as well.
Can anyone tell me if the base radios that arefactoryinstalled in Cooper S convertibles and hardtops 2007+ are the same manufacturer and models? I am in the market for a Cooper S hardtop. I don't know if it will be a 2008 or 2009. I have a Toyota Camry, now,and had installed a USA SPEC adapter to control an ipod from the radio, which works great. USA SPEC has an adapter for the 2007+ Cooper convertible, but no mention of the hardtop. Ifthe radios are the same, I am anticipating that adapter will work on the hard top. I know that Mini offers an in glovebox ipodconnection controlled at the radio, but the after market USA SPEC is about half the cost.
