Default Need to add license plate frame to front of my S

Hi all,

I'm new; I just got a 2006 Chili S black hardtop. I'm in Washington state, where both front and rear license plates are generally required. Trouble is, if you know what the front end of the Cooper S looks like, um, there's really no place for a license plate frame. There's a narrow strip of body metal between the grille and the bottom vent, not that I wanna block the bottom vent with a plate.

Has anyone here had to put a license plate frame on the front of their Sport? Where/how do you get this done?

Thanks much,
The Habanera driver

the mini dealer can supply you with the factory mount that drills into the bumper ...

Or go like this : http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...te-holder.html

it mounts in the tow hook hole

Thumbs up

Thanks! I liked the no-drill tow hook plate holder and ordered it...plus a set of floor mats...and almost a sport hook & bike rack, but that should probably wait until a future payday. This could turn out to be my new favorite way to blow money out the airlock.

Cheers,
Habanera
