Has anybody installed the Bonnet Stripes without having the dealer install them?

My dealer wants $ 350 to install the 2 stripes--seems like a lot of money for 2 stripes.

If anybody has done the install themselves could you please give me some hints on the install and even measurements etc. I have a 2007 Cooper.

Yeah you can do them yourself. Just make sure you use water so you can move them around

 

it's not too hard. I have done it on my old cars. You can use a very little lite soap in the water. Take your time and try and let it dry before driving.

 

can you put new stripes over old ones?
