Default Delivery time?

Can't wait to get my Mini so I can finally talk about something else than getting my Mini!

Been manufactured, now awaiting shipment. How long should it take to get to my west coast dealer? I get the sense he's telling me what I want to hear, but I'm driving a rental car (costing me a fortune!) whilst I wait for my Mini!

Did you get your Cooper yet? I ordered mine on Oct 1 and the website says 'awaiting transport'.

How long has it been since your ordered? and what stage is your order in?

thanks

"Tracking your Mini" on the Mini website is not very accurate, I discovered. But allow about 2-1/2 weeks after build to cross the pond.

Actually, the dealer receives updates on the progress of your car on, virtually, a daily basis, which are accurate. They should be able to tell you exactly what phase the car is in and the expected arrival date to the distribution center. Allow a couple days there and then it's transportation time to the dealership.....normally less than a week, depending on the dealer location.

All-in-all, you shouldn't need to wait longer than 6-7 weeks from order placement.

Have fun, they're a blast.

Default En Route on web site?

How long does "En Route" phase usually lasts on the MINI web site? My MINI moved from "awaiting transport" to "En Route" today. Just curious...

Default RE: En Route on web site?

Mine's still "en route", think it's been so since the week of October 12th, so about 2 weeks now. I ordered mine the first week of Sept I believe, so I've been waiting a while! I was told about 9-10 weeks from when I placed the order. Naturally my mini dealer has not answered my emails so the website's all I've got to go by...

Default RE: En Route on web site?

Thats too bad (about the dealer not answering). As soon as my status changed to "en route" which was about a week ago, my dealer promptly emailed me to say that it takes about 8-10 days to get to the US (port in South Carolina), then 3-4 more day to get to the dealer, in my case Louisiana.

I ordered my MINI on Oct 1st and anticipate receiving it on November 5th or 6th.

Good Luck!
