So I was going south through a yellow light in the intersection in Provo (bulldog and university) when the car waiting in the lane to turn left (North bound turning west) decided they would go ahead and just turn out into me. Her passenger side hit my front drivers corner. I called 911 and the police came. They did not issue any tickets as she claims I ran the red light and hit her. I know for an absolute fact the light was yellow and I was well inside the intersection (even though all I really would have had to have been was a tire into the intersection to claim right of way).
So, My car is in pretty bad shape, the police wont say either of us are at fault, and the insurance has to figure it all out. Is there anyway for the city to provide the traffic cam as evidence of her being at fault? The busiest intersection in the city and not one person stopped to say they saw what happened. There are no witnesses aside from me and the other driver as well as the traffic cameras. Any ideas what I can or should do from here?
