Default 2006 S Overheat, Clock Issue, EP?

My 2006 S has been acting weird. It's been extremely cold here in Kansas and I don't drive it everyday. It's sluggish to start. The heat gauge goes up pretty quickly. If I am at a red light I can see it going up. It's full of coolant/antifreeze and not leaking. Also the clock is just lines instead of numbers, and where it should say P for park, D for drive, etc on the gauge, it says EP no matter if it's in drive, reverse, whatever. I sat at a drive-thru this weekend and the heat gauge went up to the top and the light came on.
