Default Brake Job Questions

I have a 2007 Mini with 55k miles on it. Recently I took it to get an oil change. While At the shop I was told that it needs a brake job and was quoted $800 and $1400 at BMW. They told me that when doing brakes on a mini that you have to replace the pads, rotors, and 2 sensors. I do all the maintanance on my truck including brakes so I know how to do the work. I am just wondering if it is necessary to replace rotors and sensors every time? I looked at the rotors and they are not worn at all.
Thanks for the help

Mini rotors are soft and do wear you can measure them and see if they are within specs after you turn them . Sensors definately need replaced , I think they are fairly cheap I got a pair for $10+ shipping on ebay
