I have a 56 reg Mini Cooper s cabriolet with the HK stereo system. Just before Xmas the amp (I'm assuming this was the amp as radio still turned on)stopped working. A couple of months previous to that my alarm would go off randomly. Then the alarm went off but I could not turn the alarm off at all, had to disconnect the battery in the end. The battery was quite flat so put it on charge and the amp started working again. I got a new battery fitted a couple of weeks ago, the alarm has gone off once and amp stopped working again. Any ideas on the cause? is it the amp?
