Default mini cooper desperate help needed!!

Yesterday I parked my mini cooper (51 plate petrol) up and when I removed the key and walked away it was making a wirring electrical noise, the next morning the battery was completely flat had to get into it using the key in the door lock once inside I could smell an electrical burning smell, iv changed the battery and the car starts fine but the power steering does not work and the red battery warning light stays on! Also there is a 5amp fuse that keeps blowing in the passenger footwell it's got a picture of a car battery!!
Any help or suggestions would be great!!!
Many thanks
Chris

Default

sounds like the power steering relay stuck on killing the battery and the fan ,
the fuse might feed the relay
