Default Mini Stalling on the higway....

Hi,

Well its a hot 38 degree day here in Melbourne, I was driving down the M1 freeway and my 2002 Mini Cooper, decided to start "konking " out at 100, the temp gauge was fine, the AC was on.

I pulled over and check all of the electrical connections under the bonnet, waited a few minutes and went on my way, 5 min later same again......

The second third fourth etc time this happened the Ac was off.

The temp gauge never went higher then the half mark.

Could this be fuel starvation??? Very hot here, any thoughts......

Thanks

Dee
