need OBD reader recommendation

I have an '06 MCS R53. Need recommendation for an OBD reader. So many out there. Each manufacturer has at least two models; one of them being twice as pricey with no clear explanation on the difference.

I'd like to be able to read the vehicle specific codes and reset the service reminder.

Ideally, I would also like to use on my VOLVO.

I jist use the lcal advance/autozone to pull codes
