Hi there form Australia!
I have a '05 Cooper S Cabrio and the roof does not open anymore... The left hand side hook (suppose to slide down in order to allow the roof to slide back) broke. The piece is part of the roof and cannot be changed and unfortunately I have to change the all roof. I bought the car second and the problem happened during the car dealer warranty. The problem is that the car dealer (BTW... I hate him) is telling me that I missed used the roof and therefore it is not under warranty #%&*^@!!! So I have 2 questions:
-Did anyone have similar problems?
-Is there a build-in security feature that will stop the roof closing if you leave your neck in the way for example?

Beside the problem with the car dealer is it a great car! I am loving it but I am frustrating to have it stack in my garage for months now!
