Default Run Flat Warning Light

Hi
Every time I drive my mini cooper (2002) the 'run flat tyre' warning light comes on and flashes (which according to the hand book mean I have a puncture). However I do not have run flat tyres on my mini......??? And I do not have a puncture. So I am wondering what does this mean and/or how do I stop it from flashing
Thanks Dee

First check each tires tire pressure and be sure they are at the suggested pressure, even a few PSI can get the light on.
Next you need to reset the light. Follow the manual instructions
If this doesn't cure it the TPMS sensor in the wheel is bad you will need either the dealer or a tire shop diagnose which one went out

The light has to do with tire pressure monitoring systems. (tpms)
It lets you know if your your tires are not at the required pressure or if one is lower than the others depending on the type of system. In cars with out run flats you can do a visual and a touch inspection to know if you have a flat. If you do not have a visual and when you get to a gas station then check the PSI and add air.
