Default Cold Air Intake for a MINI Cooper S

I have a 2011 MINI Cooper S that I want to modify. I wanna put a cold air intake in, but I'm not sure if it will void my warranty or not. Also, any suggestions about particular makes?? Or an alternative modification that will give me a nice boost for not too much money?

Thanks!

We use the K&N intake here at the shop but they will can void your power train warranty if your dealer is picky about up grades. K&N Cold Air Intake MINI Cooper - Sneed's Speed Shop Inc
