CD changer $1000.00

My 2009 JCW is factory wired for a CD 6-pack changer. I called the dealer and was informed the computer had to be re-programed and the unit itself was $1000.00. I think spending $1,200.00 on a CD changer is really steep. Anybody know of any other way to ad the changer by using aftermarket or a radio shop? $1,200.00
