Default Moving USB/AUX adapter?

I've looked through the forums and I haven't seen any mention of anyone trying to move the USB/AUX adapter from the center console into the glove compartment - or elsewhere. I have a 160GB iPod Classic interfaced and I'd like to get it out of public view and also reclaim the real estate in the center console.

I have not yet looked at how the little box is connected or wired, I thought I would ask here to see if it's a non-starter or if it can be done.

I am a new MC (2009 MCS) owner and a new member to the forums.

Thanks!

Default

I've seen others get a longer cord and run it from the jack up and to the glovebox
