Default Shifter knob

Greetings all,
Does anyone know what thread size is used on the shifter knob?
I wanted to fabricate a custom one for a 2008 S (the car hasn't been delivered yet so I can't look at the factory one).
Thanks, Bill

Is it a shaft with a screw, pin or press fit then? I guess I will ride back up to the dealer and see exactly how it attaches. Thanks.
