Default Advice on buying a new mini

Were in the process of buying my dream mini. Is it standard practice that Mini dealers do not negotiate msrp?
Also.... What about the extended warranties? Good idea or bad?
Thanks

MANY dealers are straight MSRP, some use extra's such as matts, stripes.car covers ect to "give" you a better deal some will save $1000 or so , others will offer low rate financing
We had the option of $1500 Off a year old model (new)

or zero percent APR for 60 months on a current one we got winter/summer matts , stripes and an armrest thrown in

Thanks
We get 750 off for going to a drive event 500 for manual and 2.9 apr oh and 100 off but no fun stuff thrown in. So I guess it's not that bad but my hubby was sooooo pissed to not get a better deal. I still can't believe he is letting me get it after not getting a better deal.

I hope to get my mini this weekend
