Exclamation car not accelerating

i have a 2006 mini cooper s convertible 6 speed manual and 100000 miles. recently, 3 lights came on -- engine service, ASC, run flat monitor. with that, my car runs really slow no matter how fully i step on the accelerator. it takes about 10 to 20 seconds to go up to about 30 mph and my rpm stays below 3000. i was causing some traffics on the way home today. I don't know what the problem is and not sure whether to take it to the dealer, or is authorized independent mini repair shop any good? im in LA and i found authorized repair shop in 6-7 miles from where i live called Avus autosport.

While I do not know what is wrong with your car you need to get it serviced. If the car will not go above 30 because it is in " limp home mode" Basically the car has a problem and there is only enough power to do small things. You do not want to ruin it .

get the cars computer scanned to get codes. If you are not a mechanic it will likely need dealer/service anyway
