2002 R53 radio to antenna signal issues
new to forum, username is VIN I have memorized from parts purchases at dealer.
I can use a fine wire at the back of radio, with antenna lead removed ,only touching contacts. the radio scans and picks up a few stations. When connecting all cables from radio to amplifier to roof mounted antenna and transceiver, the radio picks up ZERO STATIONS.
Is anyone familiar with how to test signal amplifier? Is there a switching device that powers up antenna/amplifier? I work at BMW/MINI dealership, in corporate office, have been through all ISTA scans and support.
Any ideas's?
