Hi everyone, name is Nathan and my wife and I are going to purchase a 2012 Cooper S Convertible.
Plans to be Red, with the black strips down the middle, black top, cloth seats, nav, black wheels from JCW (18"), fog lights, xenon and auto. Yep auto for the misses.
We will be trading in our 2007 335i sedan.
We also own a 2000 Z3-2.8L roadster and my 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4WD pickup.
I use to have a website call Z3POWER.net
My other Bimmer names are Z3Power, TejasPOWER and TejasBIMMER.
We were told by my dealer that it would take approx 10 wks from order to have the car arrive at the dealer. I hope to post hear sometime in July or August about the purchase.
So in the meanwhile, I will just satisfy myself on surfing and researching all the stuff you have posted.

I had my MINI within 6 weeks - on the nose (also chili red w/ black bonnet stripes/hood - but not a convertable). Your dealer should be able to give you the VIN# (if they haven't already) and can tell you the details of the build (when the car is done/loading on a ship, and the name of the ship it's on). I actually tracked the ship on line using a GPS shipping site, and was able to see its progress across the Atlantic. It was alot of fun!
