Newbie 05 S Owner
Hi all. I just bought my first MINI - a 2005 S. MINI says that it's British racing green, but it's not the same green that I remember by that name from my days as an MG B owner (the MINI is darker and metallic) but it's a nice shade of green. It's got 44K miles on it. Looks like the only customizations are checkered mirror covers and maybe the bonnet stripes (they might be original though).
I came from a Nissan 350Z track model - decided I wanted better mileage but still wanted to have some fun. And so far it is really, really fun. I'm just outside DC (in northern VA) and so far have only found one other MINI enthusiast, who happens to work at the same place that I do. I'm looking forward to more fun.
