Default R53 issues?

I currently don't own a mini, I drove a friend's R53 cooper S and now I've decided to myself that I must own one as a daily driver. I'm looking to purchase an used R53 in the upcoming month.

As of now, I'm only concerned of what types of issues that I might face with on a typical 80k mile, 5 year old Mini equipped with a 6-speed tranny.

When do costly parts usually began to wear out?
Are there any issues with the R53 in general that stands out?

If anyone is willing to give some advice, please feel free to.
Thanks in advance.

The electrical power steering pump , and cooling fan are known for failure. But the remanufactured ones available have a lifetime warranty.

The rest are pretty stout we have a member with 350k on an S (2nd clutch)
The runflats are pricey to replace thats why most get rid of them and run regular tires
