I just bought a new 2012 Mini Hardtop a couple weeks ago. It has the two stripes on the hood. I am thinking about getting the ones added to match on the back hatch. Quote was $150.00. Is that too much? Could a regular detail shop do it as well as Mini guy that does it for dealer?
We just got a 2012 Mini Hardtop in BRG. Hardly ever see any that color on the road. Beside loving the color, that is the second reason we chose it. BRG is so, British. Just think it is curious that more of that color not sold. salesman said Red, White, and Black was the most popular. Any other BRG's out there?

Our salesman said we "had" to name our new car and since it is BRG, we named it Grasshopper! Thought it was kinda silly, but can't believe how much we love the car. It is sooo much fun! Did anyone else fall for this?
Thanks, bad venge. That was exactly what I was looking for and couldn't decide how I was gonna describe it to the detail guy. Not a lot of Coopers that I have seen have the boot stripes. Thanks, again!
I had the boot stripes installed today on my 2012 Mini Hardtop base model. Already had the bonnet stripes on the hood. The white ones on the hood have a "small" black line outlining the stripe. The ones I got put on the boot have a black outlined stripe that is about twice the size of the front one. Did he put stripes from an earlier year or the wrong ones? This is the detail guy that puts them on for the dealer that I purchased it from. It just bugs me knowing it is different. Are the boot stripes different from the bonnet?
