Turbo "S" maintenance, and tires
I posted in the '07 and up section, but am not getting much response, so here I am!
I'm a radio tech at Kennedy Space Center, and a low grade shade-tree wrench, mostly working on my motorcycles.
We are considering a new "S" to replace our '03 Honda Element.
Questions:
1. Does anyone here have any high mileage experience with a BMW-era turbo "S" to tell me what to expect in the way of required maintenance and repairs after the warranty is up?
2. Hearing how the run flat tires are doing, I'm considering doing something else when the OEM skins are done.
What is everyone else doing for tires and flat fixes?
Thanks!
Bob

I'm only at 5k on the 10 so no high mileage
theres a bunch of threads on the runflats
I'm running reguler tires , carry a plug kit.compressor . slime. fix a flat and a AAA card if all else fails
I have the stock tires at home and can get the wife to bring one incase
