My understanding no more supercharger. Sometimes car mfg. will purposely mislead until they are ready to unvail a new car model. Unvailings are mostly done at big shows like SEMA in Los Vegas, Tokyo auto show etc. with that said I think more changes will take place at least I hope. Sorry that Mini is uuggllyy[sm=smiley22.gif] LoL.

I'll take a turbo over a supercharger any day. The car looks basically the same to me, but like you said, there are most likely many more changes to come, because they're not anywhere near introducing the 06 or 07 Minis yet.

with the turbo you will have the issue of spool time, but you dont have the parasitic loss that you do with the SC...

btw, think the new mini is nice looking, and the interior is a nice change to an already gorgeous interior!

Ah yes, but the Mini engineers have thought of that too. They are using a twin-scroll turbo that virtually eliminates turbo lag.

I'm guessing it is since they've already teamed up with some company and designed the new engine.

Motoring File is a very well established website, and they have many connections, so most of the stuff on that site is going to be pretty accurate.
