Default FS: 1977 RHD Mini Full Resto

Posting this for my father. The car is in St. Pete Fla. and has a title.
Has recipts for $21,000 invested. Asking $18,000 Or Best Offer.

MINI 1977 MK III



Total Restoration 2004 to 2006



Body inside and out and engine compartment medial blasted

All body work replaced or repaired by Sweads Body shop

Body, interior and engine compartment painted with 1977 Rover Blue w/ off white top

All suspension/gaskets (doors,windows,trunk) and gators replaced

New wiring harness, lights, lenses, headlight housings bulbs replaced

Complete new interior, seats, carpet,headliner,dash and union jack on top

ENGINE

Removed 998cc and installed metro A + block bored out to 1398cc by Goodin-Singer, St Petersburg, Fl ported, polished ,and completely balanced including high end crank. Big end shells, main shells, head stud kit, set P Max pistons & rods, valve spring and rocker set

Additions to engine:

Stage three (3) cylinder head complete with valves and lifters & Kent sport road cam, cam followers set, stud thrusters, high capacity oil pump, high flow water pump, four (4) core radiator with manual and electric fans, lower and upper bushing kit. BCE needle in new 1 3/4" SU, Aldon Yellow Comp distributor, alloy inlet manifold, LCB std bore exhaust manifold with Ansi muffler, comp diff pin, planet gear diff, Electric ignition 45 don, HIF air filter, all new cables, Polly engine stabilizer kit, New master break and dual comp front disk brakes, Koni shocks frnt/rear and new suspension cones, new rear drums and pads, turbo clutch assembly, 13 row oil cooler, center oil pick up.

This thing is beautiful and rips. I have a 1984 VW GTi with a Weber carbed 2L 16 valve motor that is a very quick car and the mini blew me away.

Tried to get it as a wedding gift but it did'nt work.
