Default My Interior Plans

UPDATE! Now, I would LOVE to shave 900 pounds off of my MINI. Wonder why? Well How many of you here that the NEW C6 Corvette Z06 has a weight to power ratio of 6lbs:1hp? Right now with about 249 whp, I have a 9.21lbs:1hp.. hmm......

Haha pretty soon you'll be competing with the Ariel Atom. What about traction? With the twincharger putting out that much power, you're gona need some sticky tires.

acually you won't really need special tires. If you look on youtube and type 300hp mini
http://youtube.com/watch?v=DhO2--cFTDY. There is also a 400hp mini, but it dosn't really talk about anything.

remove the rear seats, interior carpets, entire A/C motor, any and all sound deadening material, passenger seat, interior panels, ....what is that about 400lbs or so? stereo, speakers, that could be another 40-50lbs, ...use lighter wheels that may shave off another 40lbs.

At most what I can imagine is about 500lbs removed from the car, but it will be a bare bones car. Are you planning on using this strictly for auto-crossing?

Cut and replace Steel with cage-structure. (think Funny-Car)

Replace Glass. Remove seats and replace with a CF Seat.

etc etc.
