Default Changing out run-flats

I have run-flat tires on my '06 base model, and it's time for new shoes. But I also have a mini-spare under the car, so I don't NEED run-flats. Are there any issues with going to standard tires that I should know about? (Other than saving $500?)

remember to have the jack handy incase of a flat I carry a tire mobility kit with slime and a tire pump. This also means I carry a plug kit.

I switched and have had no issues. I also understand that stardard tires have longer tread life than run flats, and are much less expensive.
